Chapter Eight

Usatho moved over her and brought his body in full contact with hers. He covered her completely and slowly brought his weight down. Mercy watched him watching her, and she panted as his body pressed hers into the thick pad underneath her.

She stared up at him, and he smiled and flexed his wings to cover them. She was plunged into darkness, and the scent of him surrounded her. She breathed him in and twisted her wrists in their confinement.

“Why the restraints?”

He slowly started to rock against her, his body dragging against her skin. “They help me predict where you are going to be so that I don’t lose control.”

“What are you doing now?”

Usatho chuckled. “Gaining familiarity when the softness of your skin, the parts that tense and peak. The scents that come from you when you get hot, and the soft sounds that your body makes when it prepares a welcome for me.”

As he said that, she felt another surge in her channel.

He chuckled. “Like that?”

“You can hear that?”

“Oh, yes. More than hear it, smell it and feel it. It was the first thing that tuned to you. I know what you like to watch but don’t know what you like to feel, so that is what the restraints are for.”

She stared into his eyes, and he moved against her in a slow rocking motion. Fire bloomed on her skin where his body touched hers, and she pulled at her cuffs, wanting to wrap herself around him. She kicked and jerked as he moved on her, and his cock grazed her inner thigh. Her folds were slick, and she heard herself as she shifted. She froze.

He chuckled. “Just a little contact, and you are already slick. It’s delightful.”

She blushed, but his glowing eyes were the only thing she could make out. She stared into his eyes and watched the stars slowly move in his eyes. “Where did those stars come from?”

“From you. These are all the stars we can see in our future.” He continued moving on her, and she started arching up against him. Her legs flexed, and she tried to wrap around him.

“Ah, ah. No rushing. Now, I am going to taste you. Don’t worry. It shouldn’t hurt.”

She braced for a bite, but instead, the brush of lips followed by the flick of his tongue caressed her temple and moved across her forehead until he had covered her cheeks and finally her lips.

When his tongue slid between her lips, she breathed in deeply through her nose. He took up all the space in her mouth. “Now, we can begin.”

“Begin what?” she whispered as he slowly trailed his fingers over her skin.

He smiled. “Begin training your body to call to mine. It will make our time together easier if you call to me when you have a need. I will answer it, and we will both benefit.”

She thought about fighting her responses. Thought about it. His steely glare made her think twice about it. He stroked his fingers down her inner thigh, and her leg jerked until the restraint stopped it.
